Care, Refined

At Refinery Physio, I believe great care starts with understanding the whole person—not just the painful shoulder, injured knee, or meager running performance.

Pain or dysfunction is usually the result of a bigger picture. The way you move, train, recover, your injury history, your daily habits, and even your goals all play a role. That’s why every session looks beyond the immediate symptoms to understand what’s really driving the problem.

You’ll receive one-on-one care from start to finish. Every treatment plan is tailored to you and may include hands-on therapy, movement assessment, strength and mobility work, coaching, education, and a clear plan to help you get back to doing what matters most.

Whether your goal is keeping up with your kids, returning to the gym, preparing for competition, or simply moving through life without pain, my focus is helping you build lasting strength, confidence, and resilience—not just temporary relief.

Lasting results don’t come from quick fixes— they come from the right plan, executed well.

About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Luressa Edrington.

Long before I became a physical therapist, I was an athlete who spent more time injured than I wanted to. I experienced firsthand how frustrating it is when injury takes away something that makes your life feel full. I also learned that there was a lot I could have done to mitigate the problems that had hindered me. Those experiences shaped the way I think—and ultimately led me into this profession.

Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with elite athletes, military service members, and active individuals from all walks of life. Those high-performance environments taught me that pain and injury rarely exist in isolation—they are influenced by movement patterns, training habits, past experiences, daily demands, and the goals that drive us. Understanding the whole person is essential to effective treatments.

Healing and performance rarely come with a simple roadmap. People deserve more than a diagnosis or a list of exercises; they deserve someone who listens, is willing to look at the whole picture, and helps create a plan to get them back to the life and activities that matter most. I would be honored to be someone who gets to walk alongside you from wherever you are to where you would like to be.

As a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist, certified athletic trainer, and health coach, I combine hands-on treatment, movement analysis, strength and mobility training, and education to help people move well for the long term.

Refinery Physio was created to provide the kind of care I would want for myself and my family: thoughtful, individualized, and effective.

What To Expect

Care at Refinery Physio is structured, intentional, and fully one-on-one.

Every client starts with a comprehensive evaluation that looks beyond the site of pain—assessing movement, training habits, injury history, and contributing factors across the full system.

Early sessions often prioritize hands-on treatment to reduce pain and restore mobility. From there, the focus shifts toward building strength, refining movement, and improving how your body performs under real-world demands.

You can expect:

  • A thorough, whole-body assessment—not just the area of symptoms

  • One-on-one sessions with intention and direction

  • Hands-on treatment using advanced clinical skills to get you out of pain and moving better, faster.

  • Treatment may include visceral, fascial and spinal mobilization, manipulation, dry needling, cupping, movement capacity exercises and progression.

  • Clear guidance on how to move, train, and progress

  • A performance-based approach tailored to your goals

The goal is simple:

Help you to feel better, move better and achieve your goals.
